Weddings are so much FUN! I have held a deep love for weddings since I was a little kid, simply obsessed with the elegance, the grandeur and the life-changing significance of the day. There is no exaggeration when I say my face hurts at the end of each wedding from smiling behind the camera the whole day through. It is just impossible to witness the commitment of two people to each other, the happiness for them radiating from everyone present and not get caught up in the excitement of it all. I know it makes me a better photographer for it and I want to share that with you!
While all weddings have mostly the same components- the dress, the vows, the cake and guests, each leave their own impression because each couple has their own identity. My joy in photographing your wedding day, is to capture what it is about you, your family, friends and traditions that visually prove this is the beginning of your forever. I work to capture your wedding day as it naturally unfolds while providing gentle guidance as needed to leave you with images that make you grin as much as you did when he dropped to one knee. As your photographer, I will spend more time with each of you on your wedding day than anyone else and that is an honor I am so grateful for.
My work is best suited to sincere and gracious couples who can’t wait to marry their best friend in a chic, time-honored manner. I believe classically styled portraiture in conjunction with candid ‘in-between’ moments produce an incredible keepsake from your wedding day. I place great importance on being present throughout your day as it occurs to provide images of everyone involved celebrating your marriage. These images combined in your wedding album will be a timeless lens your children and grandchildren will use to understand how their own stories began.
